"Big Evil Megacorp" is a jab at every faceless conglomerate that ever shipped a bloated internal wiki. For years it's been the placeholder domain hosting quotes on software simplicity I've picked up around the internet. Over time it's become a stand-in for the content, frameworks, and playbooks I actually use in my work — the irony being intentional: simplicity, filed under a name that sounds like the opposite of it.

I'm Will Everett. I work as an enterprise architect, though I didn't plan for that. I wrote about how I got there in The Accidental Architect.

This site holds two things. The docs are personal reference material. The blog is where I think through ideas in writing, usually shorter and less structured.
